Selker Leadership History

There is a better way
Greg Selker spent 12 years as a Senior Partner at Christian & Timbers, honing his evaluation techniques while the company rose from boutique to one of the largest global search firms. By conducting hundreds of searches and thousands of hours of executive interviews and extensive studies on leadership, Greg realized that there had to be a better way. He was determined that executive search could deliver value beyond a series of transactions to locate a candidate. Greg's personal and professional journey created the vision that led to the formation of Selker Leadership in the summer of 2002, and the co-invention of the patent-pending Performance Values Assessment™ (PVA™) methodology.

Recognizing the innovation and value of PVA, Larry Elliott, with 10 years as a Senior Partner for the Technology Practice and CTO at Heidrick & Struggles joined Selker Leadership as a Senior Vice President. In the four years prior to Selker Leadership, Larry was the Chief Operating Officer of Perot Systems Technology Management Group, a value-add consulting practice delivering infrastructure optimization, strategic sourcing and IT governance services to CIOs of global corporations. In addition to his significant business and professional services experience, Larry developed and taught a 14-week course on leadership as part of the graduate curriculum of Air Force University, the graduate academy of the U.S.A.F.
